^^ That probably sounds sorta passive aggressive but I couldn't think of another way of saying it.
Most wikias function normally with more than one active sysop. Like I mentioned in the link above, if something were to happen here, like a raid, for example, there should be active administrators so the situation can be dealt with promptly and smoothly.
What Munchvtec said ^ I'm saying this again in case you don't get a proper notification but it's been about two weeks now. :) I don't really know another way to word this so I'm sorry if I sounded aggressive.
The wiki currently uses the old fully-coded infobox styles. This can be tricky for anyone not familiar with code to update. The new portable infobox style solves a lot of this, making it easier to update and code. The drawback is that the default boxes are ugly as sin, as you can see on the chapter draft portable infobox.
So if it's of interest, I've whipped up a quick style for the portable infoboxes. You can see the style code so far on my personal css, and this is what the infobox looks like with the code:
It's based on the current box, so it's nothing fancy. If you take a look at the code for the current box and the draft box, you'll see that the draft box is much simpler.
I'm bringing this to you because you're the only active admin here. In order to go forward with this, an admin will need to update the wiki's CSS.
So let me know if you're interested, and I'll fine-tune the code and start converting the infoboxes.
Personally, I didn't really care about it. Even with the coding, I don't think Portable Infoboxes will ever be considered "Appealing" to the eye. Some wikis managed to pull it off but I don't really know. I also like the challenge of updating an infobox sometime with the full coding but it's just me I guess.
Ah sorry for the lack of prior explanation, as you can see there aren't that many people editing the wiki and admins on the wiki doesn't really visit the wiki that often, therefore I would want to give these permission to all the frequent editors in order to smoothen the editing process and handle occasional bad edits more effectively
That's great and all but there should be an active admin if you aren't around. Perhaps give Masque administrative rights in case someone needs to be blocked down the line? That is if they want the rights.
Edit: Forgot to mention Mew Amelia. I think they'd make a good sysop as well.
Sorry for the lack of timely response, but if you think you can write about an additional page about Divine Era to explain about the backgrounds and the difference in societt and such, then it would be a good idea to create a page, I believe
It's been a while since I was last here, and I sincerely apologize for that. Due to problems in real life, I'm not really able to be on Wikia anymore, so I thought it would be best to assign a more active user with the role of administrator. This way, there will still be two admins! Do you have an idea of who to give this to? I can demote myself back to a regular user if needed. Thank you!
Well, there're no limit on number of administrator so you don't need to worry about it
If you believe the problems in real life would make you unable to return to the wiki in a long period of time and it would make you feel m,ore comfortable by dropping your own admin role then you are free to demote yourself. Otherwise you can still keep it for now.
Either way, don't let wiki affect you in real life. Focus on real life problem, and whenever you feel those problems are fixed and you are comfortable to return then you would still be welcomed to do so.
Hello, they have been fixed. I have also given you the right to delete pages in case you have accidentally created something unwanted and want to get rid of it. Also, when editing templates and links, I would recommend the use of source code editor which is less error prone compare to the regular editor. You can change what editor you want to use in your personal setting page, or by selecting source editor in edit page.
This is just going to be a "Hi!" message but anyway... I'm somewhat impressed because you're an admin in so many wikias so I just want to ask on how did you do that. Just curious. :) Zekumoru here if you still remember. :)
Hello, just a quick question. There are a lot of images on the wiki of different Hero forms (not including Mankai). None of these are on the "page" for Heroes. Would it be a better idea to add these pictures to the category, make a gallery page and add it there, or just not add them at all? Thanks in advance! I also wanted to apologize for not editing too much since the wiki adoption. Life is getting to be a lot busier lately.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "categorizing by characters in it." Do you mean categorizing images for each character instead of the series it belongs to, like Category:Miyoshi Karin instead of Category:Yuki Yuna for her pictures? Thank you for understanding. Everything should hopefully be sorted out by mid-July, and then I should be able to help out more.
Yes. But if you think it is desirable to have pictures sorted according to what series they are in, then you can apply multiple categories onto same image. (Doing so would require creation of new categories, as Category:Yuki Yuna will become character category instead of series category.)
Sorry for the late response! So the categories will be used for characters, then. I'll help move everything when I'm on my computer. If you think series categories are a good idea, then we can have those too. Another option (though these categories are still going to happen) is a /Gallery page, such as here, but that's another topic.
Edit: The categories should all be sorted out. There is also a category for Koori Chikage, although she doesn't have a page yet.
So, when the form is used, a sacrifice is made... Is their lost function pre-determined to them? I would not want to be disabled greatly if I used it for the first time. I just hope it isn't lost randomly.
I don't think that is predetermined but the mechanism is still unknown. Some suspect it is random while others suspect it depend on need/desire/which part you treasure most/your adaptability to be a yuusha
Hello! I've noticed that there aren't many contributors on this wiki right now, and it's been a while since you or Abbynanodesu were here. I've been editing as much as I can, when I can, and hopefully I didn't wreck the wiki ^^" so here's the question: When would I/will I ever be eligible to become an admin? I want to help, and I should be here for a bit (probably more in June), but I don't want to adopt the wiki because I've never made it past "user" on any wiki. Thanks!
yeap I am not available to edit the wiki recently so I can't really take care of the wiki in recent months but the problem is that I am only a sysop which mean I don't have the right to set other people as admin. I suggest you to either ask Abbynanodesu directly or adopt the wiki but throw the bureaucrat right to me after doing so if you don't want to make yourself pass the user level
Oh, I see. It doesn't really seem like Abbynanodesu is active anymore, but I'll contact them first and see what happens. Otherwise, I'll try to adopt the wiki and then make you bureaucrat, since you're right about me not wanting to be anything besides an admin. Thanks for the response!
